Camilo Escobar is an Underwriter at kWh Analytics. Before joining kWh, he worked on the broker side for 7 years at Marsh and Acrisure in the Energy and Power Division. He assisted clients with securing coverage for their renewables, downstream and midstream energy exposures.
Camilo holds a B.A. in Finance and Risk Management from Saint Mary’s University. He is originally from Colombia, but currently lives in Houston.
Charity Sotero is a Data Scientist at kWh Analytics. Before joining the team, Charity worked at AAA as a Data Scientist on the Big Data Team, using predictive analytics to reduce emergency services reaction time. Prior to that, Charity was an intern at the NASA Glenn Research Center, co-authoring an open-source library to analyze solar cell data.
Charity holds a M.S. in Applied Statistics from California State University, Long Beach and a B.S. in Public Health Science from the University of California, Irvine. She is from Sacramento, California.
Chris Scanlin is a Senior Manager of Data Engineering at kWh Analytics. Previously, Chris worked at Dot & Bo as a Marketing Analyst, and then as a Software Engineer. He started programming with Python to automate repetitive marketing tasks, and quickly transitioned to a full-stack engineering position where he primarily worked on data pipelines, payment methods, and vendor tools.

Destiny is an Assistant Underwriter at kWh Analytics. Before joining kWh, she worked at LIG for five years in the commercial marine and Longshore division as an Underwriting Assistant, working on multi-line risks throughout the United States.
Destiny graduated from Eckerd College with a Bachelors in Marine Science/Biology. She is originally from Oklahoma, but now resides in Tennessee.
Dori Darras is the Underwriting Operations Manager at kWh Analytics. Dori has spent six years in energy, primarily in the oil and gas sector, working on capital improvement projects and asset reliability. Prior to joining kWh Analytics, Dori worked at Pinnacle Reliability and led corrosion modeling of assets, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize a site’s risk mitigation strategy and inspection spend. Prior to Pinnacle, Dori was a Project Engineer at Valdes Engineering and managed the design and execution phase of brownfield engineering projects. Dori is passionate to accelerate the energy transition!
Dori received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois and has a Masters in Engineering Management from Vanderbilt University. She lives in North Carolina.
Darryl Harding is the Director of Technical Underwriting at kWh Analytics. Before joining kWh, he worked at Hartford Steam Boiler for eight years. For the majority of his time at HSB, his focus was the renewable energy sector. From handling operational and construction projects, with both domestic and international placements, he gained a wide range of experience while successfully underwriting complex risks. He started his insurance career more than a decade ago at The Hartford.
Darryl holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut.
